Adventure Life’s “Search for the Pink Dolphin” Amazon Tour

After nearly 15 years of conducting adventure travel tours, Adventure Life has received many positive online reviews and testimonials for its culturally focused adventures to all corners of the globe. Reviews also applaud Adventure Life’s emphasis on environmental awareness and preservation through tours to destinations such as the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon River basin. A particularly popular eco-offering is its five-day “Search for the Pink Dolphin” Amazon Exploration.

Tour participants begin the adventure by flying to Quito, Ecuador, and navigating the Napo River on the Manatee Amazon Explorer. This is followed by an intimate canoe excursion along the Tiputini River and immersion in the native culture and wildlife of the biologically diverse Ecuadorian Amazon basin. Having experienced river mammals such as the giant otter up close, travelers have the opportunity to visit a Kichwa cultural community center on day three. Tour participants spend time with school children in native dwellings and learn about local culture, as well as the importance of the fragile ecosystem to the indigenous way of life. The fourth day offers a memorable boat trip to the Limoncocha Biological Reserve, where dozens of bird species gather daily at the parrot clay licks. Travelers alternatively have the opportunity to experience the live underwater museum Yaku Kawsay in Yasuni National Park.
