Reviews of Adventure Life, which operates full-service custom land tours in Latin America and Africa, praise its travel arrangements and knowledgeable guides. Other reviews compliment Adventure Life on its flexibility and its aptitude for meeting customer needs. The company maintains membership with the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators (IAATO).

Established in 1991, IAATO promotes safe and environmentally responsible travel to the Antarctic. It has more than 120 member companies and organizations from almost 20 countries.

Each year, IAATO sponsors an anniversary meeting. In 2016, the organization celebrated its 25th anniversary meeting. The four-day event occurred on May 3-6 in Newport, Rhode Island, and united more than 130 attendees, including 69 members. Members voted to extend the ban on using unmanned aerial vehicles among the wildlife coastal areas in Antarctica. Attendees also learned about its Antarctic Ambassadors program, in which visitors to Antarctica can, through social media, spread the word about matters pertaining to the continent.
